Und wir waren tatsächlich 2010 schon im Gespräch mit der Voestalpine, bevor das eine Messehalle wurde, da einen Flohmarkt reinzubauen. Da waren wir uns damals mit dem Vorgänger von Patric eigentlich schon einig, dann kam aber der Brandschutz dazu und damit waren wir raus. Ich habe aber damals schon gesagt, ich finde das total spannend, was hier passiert. Da die Voestalpine schon ein bisschen angekündigt hat, was der Weg sein könnte. Und schlussendlich dann damals drüben, aber auch hier, war für mich ganz ausschlaggebend die Mischung aus, auf der einen Seite Gewerbe, was natürlich ein spannendes Klientel ist für eine Tagesgastronomie. Die umliegenden Wohngebiete natürlich, die entstehen, weil es neues Klientel bringt und auch eine konsumfreudige Käuferschicht wird für uns generiert. Die Messeveranstaltungen, du hast hier eigentlich alle Dinge, oder alle Dinge kommen eigentlich hier zusammen, die du für eine Gastronomie brauchst. Du hast ein wechselndes Publikum, du hast auch ein Stammpublikum. Du hast eine gute Erreichbarkeit. But I said at the time that I thought it was really exciting what was happening here. Voestalpine had already announced a bit about what the path might be. And in the end, over there, but also here, the decisive factor for me was the mix of, on the one hand, industry, which is of course an exciting clientele for a daytime restaurant. The surrounding residential areas, of course, which are being created because it brings in new clientele and also generates a consumer clientele for us. Dass halt auch dieser Mix, der für mich einen großen Teil des Charmes gerade ausmacht, erhalten bleibt, dass es nicht zu Mainstream wird. Gleichzeitig aber, man auch ein Auge natürlich darauf hat, was wir für ein Klientel um uns herum wohnen haben, weil wir sind eigentlich, ich sag mal, im positiven Sinne von zwei der teuersten und interessantesten Standorte umgeben. Das ist Meerbusch und das ist Oberkassel. Und ich finde, denen muss man mit vielen Dingen Rechnung tragen, wenn man dieses Publikum auf dem Areal haben will. Weil das sind die Leute, von denen wir letztendlich auch leben. Und das sind halt die Gutverdienenden aus Oberkassel und gleichzeitig aber auch natürlich aus Meerbusch. Und ich glaube, da ist das aber alles auf einem guten Weg. Einmal das Publikum anzusprechen und gleichzeitig aber auch diese Individualität zu haben. Weil das ist immer wieder das, was auch meine Erfahrung zeigt, die ich in Düsseldorf gemacht habe. Der Bankdirektor und der Zahnarzt lieben Trash. Aber wenn er gut ist. Weil das ist das, was sie sonst in ihrem Leben eigentlich nicht bekommen. Das liegt einmal klar an der Mieterstruktur, die hier ist, weil man sich wirklich gut aufgenommen gefühlt hat. Das liegt aber an der gesamten Standortverwaltung, die da hinten ist, an dem ganzen Team, die das Ganze betreuen. Du fühlst dich hier sehr gut eingebunden. Das ist schön. Und das kann man eigentlich nur jedem raten. Hier einfach mal rübergehen. Das alles auf sich wirken lassen.
